McHale scores 1st, 2nd in every Caledonia poll

October 27, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Gary McHale recently received the poll-by-poll results for Haldimand-Norfolk which show, among other interesting stats, that he scored 1st or 2nd in every Caledonia poll!

Just as interesting, 62% of Gary’s votes came from outside Caledonia. This means that there is a broad base of support both in and outside Caledonia for his/our efforts to fight race-based policing. Caledonia’s victims should be pleased to know that some of their neighbours really do care about their plight.

VoC comments on ‘A bold new way to slam Whitey’

October 24, 2008 · 2 Comments

On September 23/08 National Post editor Jonathan Kay wrote an editorial highlighting just how ridiculous some human rights commissions had become. It had the shocking title of, ‘A bold new way to slam Whitey.’

Kay’s commentary about a mindnumbingly ridiculous case proving that discrimination doesn’t actually have to occur in order for one to be liable for prosecution is a clarion call to Canada to rein in out-of-control human rights commissions. Today I was sent a link to a story that shows the wisdom of that call…

In another shocking article for the National Post by former Western Standard publisher Ezra Levant, he exposes how the Canadian Human Rights Commission is prosecuting a former Saskatchewan MP for sending information to constituents related to the issue of addressing out-of-control Aboriginal crime:

Jim Pankiw, an MP who served from 1997 to 2004, is on trial for sending out flyers criticizing Indian crime in Saskatchewan. If convicted, Pankiw can face massive fines. He could also face other orders, ranging from a forced apology to a lifetime ban on commenting about aboriginal issues. If Pankiw refuses to comply with such an order, he could serve time in jail.

Aboriginal crime was a big issue for Pankiw’s constituents. According to Statistics Canada, aboriginals make up only 9% of Saskatchewan’s population, but they are 52% of the province’s criminally accused.

Race-based justice at its worst

October 22, 2008 · 1 Comment

After hearing the details of how a native man with 43 previous firearms-related convictions (out of 73 total convictions!) was sentenced to a mere 4 1/2 years for blowing a hole through a man’s arm at an illegal Caledonia smokeshack after threatening a woman and child on the occupied Douglas Creek Estates I was planning to write a post expressing my outrage when I calmed down a bit. Fortunately, Jeff Parkinson saved me the trouble with this great article:

Globe & Mail: ‘Caledonia’s forgotten family’

October 19, 2008 · 2 Comments

Dave & Dana are on left side of maple leaf facing right. They are just one example of innocent victims 'caught in the middle' between native extremists and political correctness gone insane. Click image to enlarge.

What with all the work associated with trying to get Gary McHale elected in Haldimand-Norfolk I didn’t have time to comment on a hard-hitting story about Dave Brown and Dana Chatwell that was published in the Globe and Mail by well-known writer/reporter Christie Blatchford.

Dunnville Chronicle: Independent McHale makes strong showing in first campaign

October 17, 2008 · 1 Comment

UPDATED 2034 EST Oct 23/08

The Dunnville Chronicle reporter who spent election night with us at the McHale campaign election night party captured both our feelings and our commitment to continue to speak out for those who voted to end the injustices in Caledonia by casting a ballot for Gary.

This is one of the best articles about Gary McHale and company that has ever been written in that it captures the essence of what happened, how people were feeling, and reports exactly what was said in proper context.

McHale submits ’smoking gun’ Fantino email to Hamilton court

October 16, 2008 · 5 Comments

knight-w-sword.jpg

UPDATE 1343 EST Nov 08/08: Gary McHale has received another email written by OPP Commissioner Julian Fantino regarding his arrest, this one more shocking and damaging to the OPP than the one described below. See, ‘Crown turns over another ’smoking gun’ Fantino email to McHale.’

UPDATED 1354 EST Oct 18/08:

Just two days after completing an exhausting election campaign in Haldimand-Norfolk in which he received nearly 5,000 votes from people who support his call to end race-based policing and landclaim lawlessness Gary McHale submitted the ’smoking gun’ evidence to a Hamilton judge that proves Fantino personally ordered him to be targetted in connection with the Dec 01/07 confrontation at the illegal Caledonia smoke shop that sent McHale to the hospital.

Generation Zel! Radio: ‘This Election – Dare to Believe’

October 14, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The Gary McHale campaign was very pleased when Richard Robillard of Generation Zel! Radio (www.Genzel.ca) informed his listeners he was, for the first time in his life, not going to vote Conservative, but for Gary McHale.

Richard has followed the Caledonia crisis closely and has supported the efforts to restore the rule of law in Haldimand. He spent about an hour with Gary during the Delhi Fair and wrote his original endorsement shortly afterwards.

Richard has just posted a new Thanksgiving endorsement reminding voters that Gary really and truly deserves their support:

So this election, I’ve decided to go with the maverick. The one who has promised to stand up for our area because he doesn’t have to tow a party line. The one who has been in our area addressing the black eye that is ruining our economy. The one who shows passion, leadership and integrity. I know how this man stands on an issue because he makes it clear. Love him or hate him, at least you know he will defend Haldimand-Norfolk. I ask you to give Gary McHale strong consideration when you go to the ballot tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving.

VoC poll results

October 14, 2008 · Leave a Comment

At the beginning of the campaign I posted a PollDaddy.com poll asking the following question:

“Who will you vote for in the Canadian federal election in the riding of Haldimand-Norfolk?”

Voters could only vote once, including me. The poll was open to all VoC readers no matter where they lived. VoC attracts a lot of views from pro-McHale readers referred from his website, therefore, the poll can hardly be considered scientific.

Here are the results as of 0921 EST Oct 14/08:

McHale campaign exposes last minute Liberal smear effort

October 11, 2008 · 2 Comments

Two well-known Liberals close to the Hoskins campaign have recently made false allegations that the McHale campaign is being secretly funded and/or backed by people other than grassroots voters as required by Canadian law:

Questions arise about the finances of this election campaign. McHale’s campaign is estimated to cost from $10,000 to $50,000. A truly independent candidate could not raise that amount of money. How could McHale pay these additional debts? How can he arrange financing while claiming to be nearly bankrupt?

Hamilton Spectator: McHale – winner; Hoskins – loser; Finley – chicken

October 6, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The Hamilton Spectator has confirmed, in a big way, that Gary McHale got the better of Liberal candidate Dr. Eric Hoskins at the Cable 14 televised debate last Saturday (Oct 04/08).

Finley was a no-show on Saturday, and again today at the Rotary Club of Simcoe debate scheduled for noon – she thumbed her nose at voters again by skipping the debate for a photo op in Caledonia at 12:00 noon with Canada’s Minister of Finance, Jim Flaherty.

Gary & Dr. Eric debate issues as Finley campaign self-destructs

October 5, 2008 · Leave a Comment

If Gary was good in the Dunnville debate, you should have seen him Saturday (Oct 04/08) at the Cable 14/Hamilton Spectator televised debate! Dr. Eric came on strong in the beginning, but Gary nailed him on the Carbon Tax and especially, on Caledonia when he asked the doctor if he believed there was race-based policing in Caledonia.

MPP Toby Barrett: HELP WANTED!!!

October 1, 2008 · 1 Comment

—–Original Message—–
From: Barrett, Toby [mailto:toby.barrett@pc.ola.org]

Subject: HELP WANTED!!!!

Toby here,

A recent issue of Ontario Legislative Highlights states, “Newly installed Economic Development Minister Michael Bryant is moving most of his senior advisors to his new portfolio,” leaving, “Brad Duguid, who replaced Bryant in Aboriginal Affairs, looking to fill almost every” staff “position.” plus staff in Duguid’s office have also indicated they are staying in his old Ministry (Labour).

It looks like it’s time to dust off those resumes!!

WANTED: Staff to fill vacant positions in the office of the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs.

QUALIFICATIONS: at least 2 1/2 years experience with ongoing aboriginal occupations, lawlessness and related chaos, mayhem and economic disruption. Further proven skills in persevering through 26 months of government inaction will be considered an asset!

Please send resumes and cover letters to toby@tobybarrett.com.

Any thoughts on local talent to fill these positions?

Would you believe it…EVERY CANACE founder applied for these jobs!

Dear Mr. Barrett:

I have attached the ‘Caledonia resumes‘ for four Canadians who I believe may be (almost) over-qualified for positions within the Aboriginal Affairs Ministry left vacant by Michael Bryant’s staff. I would be very grateful if you would pass them on to the new minister, Mr. Duguid.

We all have extensive experience with race-based policing as well as many valuable connections with the OPP and within the native community. You may check our references with Mr. Fantino, the Ministry of the Attorney General, Mr. McGuinty, Mr. Bryant, Mr. Kwinter, Mr. Powless and Ruby & Floyd Montour as we are all very well acquainted and have extensive experience working together.

One of our number is a long time resident. One has three brothers born in Caledonia. A third sold real estate in Caledonia before moving to London. The fourth member of our team has no real connections to the town other than having driven through a few times before deciding to become  an outsider/interloper/troublemaker like us. The fifth member, Mary-Lou LaPratte has more experience in dealing with doubletalking politicians, OPP two tier justice, and landclaim lawlessness than all of us combined.

I should note, however, that one of our group may be employed in Ottawa after Oct 14th, but the rest of us would still be available, and we really, really need the money these positions could provide. I’m fairly certain that, as with all those in the OPP and McGuinty government we, too, could be convinced to sell out our fellow Canadians in Caledonia for 20 pieces of silver. (Or perhaps even less…make us an offer!)

Please allow me to thank you for your assistance in providing access to these employment opportunities. I believe we could be a real asset to the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs in undermining the rule of law in Ontario.

Regards,

Mark Vandermaas
Gary McHale
Merlyn Kinrade
Jeff Parkinson
Mary-Lou LaPratte

P.S. Nice one, Toby!

VoC Comment

You know, if I could get a government job promoting “aboriginal occupations, lawlessness and related chaos, mayhem and economic disruption” in places like Cashedonia, I could dig myself out of debt and wait for my gold-plated pension. Of course, I’d have to break every mirror in the house so I wouldn’t have to look at myself in the morning…but, hey, who cares about a conscience when there’s money to be made?

P.S. Be sure to read Toby Barrett’s ‘Haldimand Proclamation for Peace, Order and Good Government.’
