CHCH TV not only victim of McGuinty intimidation

UPDATE 1517 EST Sept 17/07: ‘CHCH TV not only victim of McGuinty intimidation’ is #57 on list of Top Posts on the Wordpress system that includes 1,496,388 blogs.

Just days ago, in “McGuinty threatens CHTV – who the hell do you think you are?!?‘ I commented on how the McGuinty campaign office attempted to intimidate CHCH TV into not running a story critical of McGuinty with 3 different threats. CHCH is, however, not the only media outlet to receive such threats from the McGuinty campaign.

I got a call from AM640 in Toronto as I was on my way to our Brantford protest yesterday. The caller mentioned that he was aware of our efforts in trying to warn of the dangers of landclaim lawlessness, to which I suggested that it was long past time for mainstream media to expose the truth of things like the Ipperwash Inquiry cover-up. He then told me that when they try to cover such stories, they get calls from someone named Ben Chin.

At the time, I didn’t know who Ben Chin was, and I was unable to pull over to discuss it, so I offered to do anything I could to help him tell the stories of Ipperwash and Caledonia and said goodbye.

It wasn’t until later that I discovered that Ben Chin works for the McGuinty campaign office, the same guys who tried to intimidate CHCH into not running a story of a Brantford developer who confronted McGuinty in person about the attempt by the Six Nations Confederacy to extort money from him!

When we were preparing to go to Queen’s Park to present The Ipperwash Papers back in March, the QP Media Studio technician told me there was “unprecedented interest” in our presentation, so much so that he suggested that we bring as few guests as possible in order to make room for the media. There were only a few reporters in the room for our presentation, and none of them wrote a word about the explosive evidence we revealed. I always wondered why.

Let’s give McGuinty and his cronies a lesson in democracy

A reader of wrote Gary McHale to suggest that anyone concerned with Liberal intimidation of the media should call McGuinty’s campaign office and demand an end to the intimidation and the firing of Ben Chin. He was even kind enough to provide their toll-free number: 1.800.268.7250 AND Chin’s cell phone number: 416.358.6291. I hope you’ll make good use of them, and please do let me know how you make out via the comment form below. Have fun!

  1. The time is rapidly approaching when the “people” may need to take justice back into their own hands.

The OPP has abdicated their fudiciary responsibility to protect the public, and the provincial government is negligent in it’s responsibilities to the “taxpayers” of Ontario. Perhaps a large gathering in the occupied territories to route the terrorists from their hole is what is needed next.

How many more law abiding citizens need to be intimidated, harassed, assaulted, injured and killed before “our” government takes action. If they(the Gov’t) won’t do the job maybe we the people will have to do it for them!

VoC REPLY: Hi again JC. We have spent the last year working 16 hours per day trying to peacefully and legally get our ‘leaders’ to listen, to pay attention to the consequences of the OPP’s disastrous race-based policing policies that have been wholeheartedly endorsed as “best practices” by that farce known as the Ipperwash Inquiry. For our troubles we have been slandered, libelled and arrested by those who refuse to understand that the alternative to our approach is not a good one.

I was very distressed to hear about the assault on Joe Gualtieri because I knew it was inevitable, because I knew it could have been prevented and because I knew there will be much more bloodshed to come if our peaceful methods don’t work. It will be very difficult for us to convince people to remain peaceful and not become vigilantes if the OPP continue to encourage lawlessness by protecting and enabling violent criminals.

Now is the time for all citizens to put their own interests and fears aside to stand peacefully with us on Oct 8th at the ‘Remember Us’ March in Caledonia. I hope to see you there. While you’re waiting you might want to check out a post I did called Canada at the crossroads: Rule of law or anarchy? Regards, Mark

  2. Let us hope that the public come Oct 10 sends a message to the liberals which is “so long it’s not been good to know you”. Unfortunately, there are voters out there who will be bought by promises made, and money flashed about who will vote the party line and not use their God given brains and intelligence to sort through the muck, and see what is really happening. If you vote for those now in power don’t complain when some native protest takes aim at your property.

VoC REPLY: Hi Shirley. Thanks for the comment. If we don’t have the rule of law, nothing else matters, does it? Who cares about a holiday in February or funding for religious schools if Ontario has descended into civil war because the police refuse to do their jobs? Do you think the OPP would move in if it was Dalton’s house that was invaded by native criminals, and it was Dalton’s brother who was nearly murdered? I hope to see you at our ‘Remember Us’ March in Caledonia on Oct 8th. Regards, Mark
