VoC Comment

See, the OPP really do know how to enforce the law against cigarette smugglers, just not in Caledonia. Wouldn’t want to upset the DCE/smokeshack thugs, would we?

Keep feeding those crocodiles Julian, Dalton. Maybe, if you’re lucky, they’ll eat you last.

Just one straw from a stack. Catching one cup of water from an ocean….SN crime is as deeply entrenched as the morbid corruption in Queen’s Park.

The cops can’t win and are never intended to “win”….it’s just a game to make us think there is actually something being done to stem FN crime.

VoC REPLY: Heck, in Caledonia, they’re not even trying to give the appearance of stopping the crime. Wouldn’t want the criminals to get mad and upset the negotiations. I do have to include my usual statement that I do not believe the violent DCE/Smokeshack thugs speak for, or represent, all the people of Six Nations. Mark

“I do not believe the violent DCE/Smokeshack thugs speak for, or represent, all the people of Six Nations. ”

Mark: That’s a given…the Mafia no more represents Italian Americans than the Biker gangs represent motorcyclists…that’s a given as well…but somewhere some anti-intellectual will call it “racism” to call attention to the fact the the FN have a well estabished criminal organization within their community. As you say this guilt by association crap is tired and doesn’t wash in public debate any more.

VoC REPLY: I hate having to constantly repeat my position that I don’t believe these extremists speak for native people, but I also think the necessity to do so is waning due to the fact that the politicians and media, especially the National Post, have joined our call for justice. Now that they, too, have decided to brave the inevitable slurs of ‘racist,’ ‘nazi,’ and ‘white supremacist’ that go with telling the truth and calling for an end to violence by native extremists, the public is coming to understand that no slur against mainstream natives is being made. I suspect that most native people are very glad that Canada is finally overcoming its politically-correct reluctance to address native crime, as well as the corruption on reserves. Regards, Mark
