On Thursday, April 10/08 I forwarded copies of my letters to Michael Bryant and my MPP Deborah Matthews (Liberal) to 4 Opposition MPP’s and asked for their assistance in holding Bryant accountable for his comments about my Human Rights complaint.

Tim Hudak, MPP (Erie-Lincoln)
Peter Kormos, MPP (NDP Justice critic)
Gentlemen:
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in holding Michael Bryant accountable for his outrageous public comments on my Human Rights complaint against Fantino.
See attached letter to Michael Bryant asking for meeting.
See attached copy of letter to MPP Deb Matthews (includes letter to OHRC regarding Minister’s remarks.
Bryant’s comments against people who have consistently used lawful remedies to pursue justice are beyond the pale. Human and Charter rights should be above politics, and so I hope you will take up this matter on behalf of all Ontario citizens, especially those who have stood up to peacefully and legally oppose violence and civil rights violations.
Respectfully,

Send your thoughts to Opposition MPPs
Just copy and paste these email addresses into an email and let them know how important it is to tell Bryant that ALL citizens in Ontario have Human Rights, including non-natives affected by land claims. I’ve also included the addresses for PC Aboriginal Affairs critics Norm Miller and Gilles Bisson.

I have sent letters to all of the above.
I do not believe Bryant should just apologize.
I believe he should be fired for his creating government mistrust in our institutions. We must be confident that individuals will not be ridiculed, libeled and slandered for wanting their Human Rights protected.
