Caledonia activists McHale, Kinrade, Fleming launch campaign for Haldimand Council seats

Three of the most visible activists in Caledonia/Haldimand County have filed nomination papers and launched campaign websites under the unified theme, ‘HALDIMAND is OPEN for BUSINESS.

In the 2008 federal election Gary gathered 10% of the vote, including 1822 votes in Caledonia alone so this should be an interesting race.

I highly recommend readers take a tour of Gary’s ‘Pictures of Leadership‘ page which tells the story of his remarkable contributions to Caledonia/Haldimand in words and images.

Voters have the chance to sweep out Haldimand councillors  who were defacto collaborators with the OPP, Liberal government and their racial policing/justice policies. A chance to restore business confidence by restoring the rule of law and its necessary predictability for investment. A chance to reach out to the good people of Six Nations by strong people with a strong vision, people who know that healing can only begin with acknowledgement of the wrongs committed against an innocent community. A chance to believe again.

Let’s hope voters will take advantage of the golden opportunity they’ve now been given.
