Dear Caledonia residents:

For 5+ years I have been proud to have worked with a small group of people who have done our best to document the crimes committed by both the police and native militants in your town as well as help you understand the role of the non-native radicals who have used native people as proxies for their own anti-capitalist, anarchist agenda. Tomorrow the people who terrorized your town and those who supported them will march in a propaganda effort to convince the victims they created to submit to their twisted logic that you were responsible for the violence against you and your town.

 

We are intimately acquainted with Mr. Keefer and his gang of anarchists, Marxists, radical unionists, and anti-Israel groups who have been supporting the lawlessness in Caledonia since nearly the beginning. They have consistently mounted vicious smear attacks against us for daring to peacefully and lawfully speak out for both the native and non-native victims they helped create, and would prefer to ignore.  

 

Here are some facts about Mr. Keefer, land claims and the groups he supports:

I will provide some references below for you to judge Keefer and the validity of the other claims in the flyer he paid to have delivered to your homes, but let me first point out that he can’t even get the most basic facts right about the main ‘reason’ he offers for shutting down Caledonia tomorrow.

Dear Mr. Barrett,

Today I had the distasteful experience of reading your assistant’s insulting email about our invitation to give Tim Hudak and the party the opportunity to march in Caledonia with us against racial policing so you all can share in the positive media coverage we are generating on this issue. After investing more than five years of my life working alongside other citizen volunteers to honour the oath I swore as a soldier to defend Canada so long ago, I scarcely know what to say to a ‘Conservative’ MPP whose long time assistant denigrates our efforts to hold McGuinty accountable as “Just more of Gary’s same ol’ shit – at least it keeps him busy!!”

I appreciate that Rob called Gary to apologize, but why did he bother? Clearly his attitude reflects the party’s. The only thing I suspect he’s really sorry for is forwarding a copy of the email to Gary McHale in error.

Some Canadians have paid a heavy price to give you opportunity after opportunity to take a stand against McGuinty’s racial policing, but your leader won’t even come to Caledonia, let alone work with us to develop policy and strategy to ensure there will be no future victims. We presented our ‘Caledonia Act’ recommendations to you, based on our years of full time, volunteer work in Caledonia so you could learn from our experience fighting lawlessness and racial policing in and out of the courts. We received no response, no follow-up request to help the party move them forward.

As the leader of the Ipperwash Papers project I am utterly dismayed that during the 5 years since we first released the 400 pages of documents on March 14/07 at Queen’s Park (just months before Sam Gualtieri was nearly murdered in the Stirling subdivision) the Ontario PC Party still refuses – to this day! – to hold McGuinty accountable for his use of the racially-skewed Ipperwash Inquiry recommendations to ‘justify’ why the people of Caledonia have been ignored and allowed to suffer via an illegal ‘peacekeeping’ mission on Canadian soil.

Only in Caledonia.

Only in Caledonia do the police let the native thugs who attack their officers and peaceful non-native people (one of whom happens to be an elderly, cancer-ridden veteran of the Canadian Navy and a UN peacekeeping mission) go free, and arrest the peaceful leader of the non-natives for standing quietly on a county road. You just can’t make this stuff up.

Today seven of the Caledonia Eight, along with a number of Caledonia residents, supporters and spouses, did what no one has done since Feb 28/06 when the occupation there began. We walked through the gates of the Douglas Creek Estates, down the county road that runs through it, to within 100 feet or so of the only house on the site.

The visit was a surprise for the occupiers and police, who were warned shortly before we left the Lions Hall in Caledonia to drive to the site.

Although history was made today by both the visit itself into Dalton McGuinty’s forbidden no-go zone via the county road that runs through the site; and by the first-ever arrest of a native person during the commission of a crime (an assault on Gary McHale), we clearly demonstrated once again that racial policing is very much alive.

The OPP arrested Gary McHale for the sixth time because a native man assaulted OPP officers and 77 year old Navy war veteran & UN peacekeeper Merlyn Kinrade who was wearing his blue beret and holding a UN flag.

Sadly, he also happens to be suffering from cancer. It happened right beside me. The police let the attacker go, and then arrested the non-native — Gary McHale — because he refused to leave because he wasn’t doing anything illegal. Why the arrest then? Because, according to the police, it was Gary McHale – one of the peaceful non-native victims of an earlier assault – who was inciting a breach of the peace.

One observer who has never attended one of our protests sent me this comment:

“I’m still trying to get it through my head that Gary was arrested in order to stop the natives from continuing to break the law. This is just ludicrous.”

What does the term ‘Non-Native’ really mean? ‘Rights for Whites?’ Or ‘Rights for All?’

For five years we have been engaged in a struggle to end OPP race-based policing directed against “non-native” people.  During that time many journalists have used the ‘non-native’ term, including Christie Blatchford, author of the Helpless: Caledonia’s Nightmare of Fear And Anarchy, And How The Law Failed All of Us, in which she laid bare much of the damning evidence proving that OPP officers were given, and followed, orders to conduct racial policing. 

On May 04/11, barely six months after release of Helpless Blatchford wrote a story after witnessing the shocking testimony of an OPP officer attempting to justify why the force was again trying to exclude Gary McHale from certain areas of Caledonia after arresting him on a trumped-up assault charge (later dropped by the Crown prior to trial) in which she wrote the words above comparing the law in Caledonia/Haldimand County to the blatantly biased workings of the racist Deep South.

CANACE’s videographer Jeff Parkinson caught a threat made against Bonnie Stephens by a native occupier while she was waiting for police to arrest her during our Saturday protest in Caledonia where eight of us were arrested for ‘trespassing’ on a Haldimand County road. The man can be heard clearly saying, “Come again and the cops won’t be here to protect you.”

VoC Comment

Even after 5 years of work in Caledonia, even after I and my associates were smeared and assaulted (several put in the hospital) and our property stolen and destroyed by Six Nations militants who ripped apart the community I must confess to still being surprized at just how much violence permeates the attitudes of some of the occupiers. Imagine – threatening a non-native woman for simply daring to stand on a county road! A road that has been declared off-limits to non-natives (and police!) by violent racists whose delusions are backed up by our province’s police force and the Ontario government.  

I am reminded of Christie Blatchford’s observation:

Christine and her husband Gary (photo, below) were honoured by award-winning journalist & author Christie Blatchford with an acknowledgement in her 2010 groundbreaking book, Helpless: Caledonia’s Nightmare of Fear and Anarchy, And How The Law Failed All of Us for their extensive assistance to the book.

Helpless tells of how Christine has been an unwavering partner for Gary’s quest to end racial policing in Caledonia against incredible odds. She has been there at every step of the way. On Dec 01/07 she by his side when Six Nations smokeshop supporters viciously swarmed and attacked Gary sending him to the hospital. Incredibly, instead of blaming those responsible for the violence, former OPP Commissioner Julian Fantino told the public that it was Gary’s fault and ordered his officers to target him for a criminal charge – and not to “get bogged down with legal nuances” to do it.

This photo of the two together was taken April 21/10 on the steps of the Hamilton Courthouse after the Crown dropped the infamous ‘Counselling Mischief Not Committed’ charge eventually laid against him – which took place shortly after two senior OPP officers – including the present commissioner Chris Lewis – were ordered by a judge to face charges of Obstructing Justice in his case. The story about the OPP’s persecution of Gary McHale is a favourite of Blatchford’s when she is invited to speak.

On Sunday June 19/11 participants in the ‘Canada Boat to Gaza’ mission will fly to meet a boat called Tahrir which will attempt to land in Gaza. Its objective is to break the Israeli naval blockade of weapons delivery to Hamas – whose Charter calls for the destruction of Israel and extermination of Jews.

Feds fund London mosque after Gaza boat fundraiser  

Blogger ‘Blazing Cat Fur’ has gathered evidence showing:  

1. On Feb 05/11 the London (Ontario) Muslim Mosque hosted a fundraising dinner for the ‘Canadian Boat to Gaza.  

2. The Operations Manager of the London Muslim Mosque, Muhammed Hamou, will be sailing on board the Sea Hitler.  

3. The London Muslim Mosque has links to the Muslim Brotherhood through the Muslim Association of Canada.  

4. The London Muslim Mosque has links to the Muslim Students Association. The MSA pledge includes these words: “Jihad is my spirit…I will die to establish Islam.”  

5. On May 17/10 Conservative MP Ed Holder (London West) visited the London Muslim Mosque to announce that the federal government was providing $39,000 in funding from the Communities at Risk: Security Infrastructure Pilot (SIP) Program. Holder said, “The funding announced…will help improve security so that the London Muslim Mosque and its members can practice their faith and culture peacefully, and continue to remain engaged in our community without fear of harm.”

Diane Finley has brushed off Doug Fleming’s attempts to meet with her to discuss the blight of illegal smokeshacks in his community. She has so far rejected our attempts to set up a meeting to talk about Caledonia issues.

SPECIAL REPORT: Dramatic increase in Palestinian targeting of Israeli civilians prelude to unified Arab attack?

UPDATED 1301 April 20/11 — Since January 2010 there has been a dramatic escalation in Palestinian targeting of Israeli civilians via rockets, mortars and terror attacks, coupled with a steady stream of incitement of hate against Jews and Israel from official Palestinian sources.

Hamas has launched 370 rocket attacks since January 2009, 90 in the months of March and April alone.

It seems likely that Israel’s leaders will be be forced, sooner or later, to take strong action to stop the attacks against their citizens by once again attempting to degrade Hamas’ military capabilities as they did in Operation Cast Lead in 2008/2009.

Indeed, the Israeli Air Force has already targeted launching sites in the Gaza strip which had fired rockets at the town of Ashdod.

The confluence of Mid-East events leads one to wonder if Palestinians are deliberately provoking the Israelis as part of a strategic plan involving a coordinated attack against Israel and/or a longer-term plan to strengthen support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Arab countries currently facing popular revolts against despotic and/or western-friendly regimes.

Let us examine events leading up to the recent mass rocket attacks on Israel conducted between March and April of this year.

Palestinian terrorists murder Fogel Family

On March 11/11 five members of the Fogel family – including three children – were massacred by Palestinians who would not even spare the life of 3 month old Hadas Fogel who was found with his throat slit, lying in the arms of his murdered father (photo, right).

Jewish apathy decried at Fogel family massacre memorial in Hamilton

The massacre of five members of the Fogel family a week ago sent shock waves through Jewish communities around the world. Three small children aged 11; four and just three months old were savagely murdered in their beds. The parents, Udi and Ruth were also murdered. […]

Details of the grisly massacre have been revealed. The murderers stabbed the mother after she saw her husband and baby with their throats slit. The other two children clenched their little fists as they were brutally stabbed to death in their beds. They clenched their fists, what else could they do against these men armed with knives? The murderers missed one of the bedrooms so the two-year-old and the six-year-old were spared death; instead, they found their parents and siblings, lying bloodied and dead. The 12-year-old daughter who had been out with friends came home to find her two-year-old brother screaming over his parents bodies.

Fogel family memorial

Last night I attended a memorial service for the Fogel family which was slaughtered in their home like animals by Palestinian butchers on March 11/11. It was a simple, moving ceremony which looked to the future to a day without such hatred, but one speaker – Gary Gerofsky of the ‘Never Again Group’ – struck a resonant chord with his quiet, but firm condemnation of Jewish leaders who refuse to support those in the community who actively confront those who lie, hate, and incite against Jewish people and the state of Israel and who, by doing so, get in the way of the productive activism needed to counter what Gerofsky calls the “Islamist and radical leftist hate.”

As someone who works to counter appeasement of native extremism and hate supported by the very same radical leftists, anarchists and anti-Semitic groups I knew, halfway through Gerofsky’s speech, that I was compelled to ask if he would allow me to post his words here on VoiceofCanada.

As we gather here today to memorialize the Fogel family, I am reminded of the 1972 Munich massacre of eleven Israeli Olympians by Fatah. I am also reminded of the 1985 Achille Lauro hijacking where wheelchair-bound American tourist, 69-year-old Leon Klinghoffer, was killed by Palestinian terrorists. I also recall the countless terrorist bombings, wars, and “intifada’s” that the Palestinians inflicted and continue to inflict on Israelis in Israel and on Jews internationally – a military and ideological war that has gathered strength over the years but began long before the so-called Israeli “occupation” existed. Now the issue of disputed land is used as the excuse to justify savage killing. The Arabs own more than 99% of the Middle East along with the valuable resources and so land is not and has never been the real issue.

In my last article I posted photos showing how OPP officers stood by and watched on March 27/11 as we were swarmed by native thugs from the occupied Douglas Creek Estates in Caledonia who stole our Reconciliation/Apology monument; kicked it into the road; smashed holes in the sides; inserted Six Nations flags; then carried it off to be burnt along with our Canadian – all while OPP officers watched.

Jeff Parkinson caught the action on video which has now been posted. Watch as a woman in a rage attacks the monument and then kicks and drags the base into the road where a plainclothes OPP officer from the Provincial Liaison Team then pulls it off to the side of the road before it gets carried off to be burnt.

Our recent Truth and Reconciliation rally held on Sunday, March 27/11 proves that the OPP still – after five years – will not protect the rights or property of non-natives in Caledonia.

OPP officers watched as the Douglas Creek Estates occupiers swarmed and assaulted us, destroyed and stole our Truth & Reconciliation/Apology monument, and then burnt it along with our Canadian flag. The clearly visible side, partially obscured by the flag, says ‘ONTARIO APOLOGY.’ The side barely visible in the flames, says, ‘EQUALITY FOR ALL.’ The other two sides facing away from the camera say, ‘6N (SIX NATIONS) APOLOGY’ and, ‘OPP APOLOGY.’

CCLA: NO to Caledonia civil rights abuses, YES to Muslim veils in Ontario courts

After reading about how the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) recently refused – again to even consider the possibility of defending Caledonia citizens against the civil rights abuses suffered at the hands of the OPP and Ontario government, a friend informed me that the CCLA was an intervenor in the outrageous Ontario Court of Appeal decision that not only allows Muslim women to testify while their faces are covered, but states that veiled women can ask the court to remove all men from the court! 

The CCLA makes silly excuses about why it won’t even meet with us to talk about the systemic, years-long civil rights abuses during an illegal peacekeeping mission on Canadian soil used to subvert the Charter and Ontario’s Police Services Act, but it worked to deny an accused the right to face his accuser simply because the accuser was a Muslim woman and, in the process, normalized what Ezra Levant calls ‘gender apartheid,’ AKA: sharia law:

It is illegal for a woman wearing a face-obscuring veil to board a plane in Canada. But a unanimous ruling last week by the Ontario Court of Appeal says it’s just fine for that same woman to give testimony in court with her face covered.

There’s more. Ontario’s highest court says veiled women can ask for an order to clear men out of the courtroom — any men in the public gallery, any male court staff, even her opponent’s lawyer, even the judge himself — in return for taking off her veil. It’s paragraph 85 of the ruling.
