About the ‘Star of David Campaign for Bloggers’

It is time to take a stand against the growing threat of Islamic terror groups and the purveyors of their propaganda until those who advocate hate and violence against Jews can be convinced to embrace peaceful solutions.

I would suggest that it is long past time for Palestinians and their supporters to put down their guns, hang up their murder/suicide vests, examine the hate and racism within their own hearts, and then follow the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King to achieve their goals. I believe they would find Israel a willing partner for peace – history proves this: if Israel can make peace with Egypt it can make peace with the Arabs of Palestine.

Until that day arrives, Israel has both the right and the obligation to defend itself.

Wear a Star of David armband on YOUR blog

During the Holocaust the Nazis forced Jews to wear Star of David badges and/or armbands in order to dehumanize them and isolate them from German society. This version was used for Jews in Holland.

VoiceofCanada is asking bloggers – Jew and Gentile – to wear a digital Star of David or flag of Israel armband to signify commitment to the following statement of support for Jews and Israel in these dark days when so many seem so willing to appease, under-estimate or turn blind and/or incompetent eyes to those committed to their destruction:

” I believe the Jewish people have the right to live free from the threat of terror and extermination, and that Israel has the right and obligation to defend itself against such aggression.”
