The Real Cuba Store: Murdered by Che

UPDATE: ShalomLife, June 16/10: Anti-Israel Protesters: Canada is Also Occupied Territory

UPDATED June 04/10 — The shutdown of University Avenue and the Gardiner Expressway by Tamils in May 2009 showed just how far the Toronto Police were prepared to go in order to allow supporters of the Tamil Tiger terror group to disrupt the lives of law-abiding people. Micro-Caledonia Redux.

Now, in a situation which also parallels Caledonia, Toronto Police seem to be operating from the OPP’s racial policing playbook by deliberately downplaying assaults against law abiding, non-Muslim activists/bloggers who are documenting anti-Israel protests.

Leader of Canadian Union of Public Employees, Canadian Arab Federation  assaults blogger

Yesterday, blogger Blazing Cat Fur was filming an anti-Israel demonstration when CUPE/Canadian Arab Federation leader Ali Mallah purposefully crossed the street in full view of the camera to assault him. Unbelievably, the Toronto Police treated the victim as though HE were the criminal:

The comparisons between the Toronto Police and the OPP in Caledonia weren’t lost on Blazing Cat Fur who kindly provided a link to VoiceofCanada (my emphasis). According to BCF the Toronto Police are trying not to lay charges against another blogger who was assaulted.

This is not Mallah’s first recorded instance of deranged anti-Israel hatred. In this video he attempts to intimidate the pro-Israel blogger Lumpy Grumpy & Frumpy. The hatred of Israel and its supporters by the left is not limited to Ali Mallah of course, the subject in this photo , one John Boone, is currently under investigation for assault on a pro-Israel blogger, unfortunately the laying of charges is actively discouraged by the Toronto Police as the blogger in question will testify. As in Caledonia the Thugs are now afforded protection in Ontario at the expense of law abiding citizens.

The Blazing Cat Fur assault was discussed on the Michael Coren Show tonight on the CTS Television network at 6:00 pm. The show will be re-broadcast at 12:30 pm tomorrow – coincidentally, the same day Gary McHale meets Coren for one full hour to talk about racial policing in Caledonia. Here’s where to find CTS:

CUPE extremists supporting Muslim extremists supporting Native extremists

Caledonia’s native extremists and Toronto’s Muslim extremists have something else in common beside racist police: the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), which has had its dirty hands all over Caledonia since early 2006 as it aided and abetted native criminal groups such as the Mohawk Warriors and the Haudenosaunee Men’s Fire with the help of the Christian Peacemaker Teams whose web page for its Mid-East mission downplays the murderous intentions of Hamas.

Native occupiers fly the Palestinian flag (red, black, white, green) with the flag of Six Nations (purple, white) and the flag of the organized crime group Mohawk Warriors (red, yellow). CUPE members were on the site supporting the lawlessness since shortly after the failed OPP raid of April 20/06.

CUPE members were on the site supporting the lawlessness since shortly after the failed OPP raid of April 20/06.

Now, though, it seems that CUPE not only supports native extremists who terrorized Caledonia and sell illegal cigarettes to the town’s children, it also supports a Muslim extremist who helps run an organization that shills for terror groups that believe in murdering Jews and wiping Israel from the map.

Ali Mallah, the Canadian Arab Federation and…CUPE

Ali Mallah is Vice-President of the Canadian Arab Federation, an organization that has been heavily criticized for being anti-Semitic by Immigration Minister Jason Kenney and others, given its support for both Hamas and Hezbollah:

Canada’s immigration minister suggested that organizations like the Canadian Arab Federation and Canadian Islamic Congress should not expect to receive government funding because of their “hateful sentiments” toward Israel and Jews.”

On Nov 27/06 the Canadian Arab Federation issued a foreign policy paper calling for Canada to take the two groups responsible for targetting Israeli civilians off its list of terror groups, calling them “legitimate political parties”:

    6. List of Banned Organizations in Canada

Under pressure from the pro-Israel lobby and the US government, Canada has banned both Hezbollah and Hamas. Both of these groups are legitimate political parties, with grassroots support, and are represented in the legislature and the cabinets of Lebanon and the Palestinian Authority respectively. Both groups are resisting the illegal Israeli occupation of Lebanon and Palestine respectively which right is guaranteed under international law.

    Recommended Course of Action

    · Remove Hezbollah and Hamas from the list of banned organizations.

    · If any group deserves to be place on the list of banned organizations, it should be the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) who murdered 8 Canadian civilians and a Canadian UN peacekeeper in Lebanon, and was accused by Amnesty International and our own Louise Arbour, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, of committing war crimes in Lebanon and Gaza.

United Nations condemnation of Hamas Charter

The Canadian Arab Federation neglected to mention in its ‘Fair and Effective’ policy report that the United Nations Human Rights Council has condemned the Hamas Charter for inciting religious hatred of Jews, rejecting peaceful solutions and laying out a “bluprint for jihadist terrorism. For more info see:

Ali Mallah & Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE)

In May 2008 Mallah was elected to the Executive Board of the Canadian Labour Congress. The list of those elected reads thusly: “Ali Mallah, CUPE 79, alternate for Diversity Vice-President for Workers of Colour.”

According to a CUPE report on ‘International Solidarity’:

“CUPE National supported the participation of Ali Mallah (CUPE 79) at the International Peace Conference in December 2005. This conference established March 18, 2006 as International Day of Protest against the War and supported the Fourth Cairo Conference against the war and occupation. […] We also supported Mallah’s participation in the Fourth Cairo Conference on Peace in the Middle East in March 2006.”

The Real Cuba Store: Murdered by CheTellingly, the report’s cover shows a CUPE delegation at a 2005 convention in Argentina over which hangs a large portrait of Che Guevara who (outside naive, North American, would-be student revolutionaries) is hated for murdering thousands to bring about the misery of Communist domination.

Tamil Tiger supporter at CUPE 3903 protest, Cayuga, June 23/09

I began this article talking about how Tamil Tiger terror sympathizers shut down Toronto roads. Let me end it by pointing out that on June 23/09 Tamil Tiger supporters were seen at a CUPE 3903-sponsored protest in Cayuga organized by Tom Keefer. It would be unfair to suggest that the mere presence of someone wearing the logo of an organization designated as a terror group by the Canadian government should reflect in any way on Tom Keefer and CUPE however, one of Keefer’s invited speakers specifically and warmly acknowledged those wearing the shirts by expressing his solidarity with them. This is an excerpt taken from the video of CUPE’s various speakers which include a fellow named Curtis:

“We’re talking about, you know, Iroquois rights. We’re talking about land claims. We’re talking about a lot of different things. But, we’re here…one of the things we all should be talking about is solidarity. Solidarity amongst not only First Nations people but solidarity with every oppressed people all across the planet. We have…what I’m talking about…I see a couple of people here, over here, with Tamil Tigers T-shirt over there…”

One can only imagine the storm of criticism that would ensue if Gary McHale or a speaker invited by him had expressed solidarity with someone wearing the logo of a racist organization or a terror group known for its extreme level of indiscriminate violence against civilians, and its fundraising intimidation here in Canada.

    VoC Comment

The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) seems to have an affinity for those who support the use of violence, terror and lawlessness against innocent people.

Sooner or later native protesters are going to realize that CUPE and their wannabe revolutionary non-native ‘friends’ are just using them for their own anti-capitalist/anarchistic ends – just like their hero Che did to peasants in South America and Cuba before them. It will be a great day for Caledonia and Six Nations when those who have been egging on natives to commit crimes against their non-native neighbours (while they stay safely on the sidelines) are finally sent packing so that the work of healing the relationship between the two communities can begin.

In the meantime, I salute all those who are risking their safety to expose CUPE’s shameful support for individuals and organizations fronting for Islamic terror groups.

As someone raised in an NDP home by working people, one of whom was a shop steward for local 1005 at Stelco in Hamilton I am repulsed by the attacks on the rule of law by members of this union and its utter lack of concern for the victims of those it supports.

6 responses to “CUPE extremists supporting Muslim extremists supporting Native extremists

    1. Hi,

      Notes on the photos:

1st from the top shows Ali Mallah (he’s the bearded man, second from the far right, wearing a light-coloured shirt with a dark pattern and blue jeans, next to the car).

3rd from the top: I believe that is Rafeef Ziadah of Palestine House.

The anti-Israel movement has been making common cause with the Native activist movement for quite some time.

The “Palestinians” want to present themselves as the aboriginals of Israel; they don’t want anyone to notice that “Palestinian” is an invented ethnicity.

VoC REPLY: Hi LF&G/Josephine. Thanks so much for the IDs. VERY much appreciated! I’ll be updating the caption on the one w/Ali Mallah. Although I’m not a Mid-East ‘expert’ I have been there with the UN and I do follow events the best I can, and have done quite a bit of reading on the various attempts by its ‘neighbours’ to wipe Israel off the map. My parents lived in Nazi-occupied Holland and watched Jews taken away to be murdered, which is one of the key reasons I gave up my real estate career to oppose racial policing in Caledonia.

It always amazes me that the media/public/anti-Isreal groups conveniently forget the following basic truths:

      1. Israel is, it could be argued, the most legitimate country in the world having come into existence by a 1947 UN vote that would have created a Jewish state and an Arab state side-by-side. Israel’s critics and terror groups don’t mind quoting the UN when it’s convenient, but love to ignore her UN-sanctioned existence, and the fact that the Arabs also would have had their own state.

      2. I once wrote a letter to the Hamilton Spec (actually got published!) in response to a doctor who tried to convince readers in an op-ed piece that Israel was the aggressor because it occupied Palestinian land in 1948. He ‘forgot’ to mention the War of Independence: the day after the UN-authorized creation of Israel took effect in 1948 Israel was attacked by Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria who intended to slaughter the Jews and destroy Israel. Any land ‘occupied’ at that time by the IDF was done so during unprovoked hostilities by Arabs who refused to recognize the UN resolution.

One of the groups which attacked Israel was the Muslim Brotherhood, which is quoted by the Hamas Charter – and condemned by the UN. (See ‘United Nations condemnation of Hamas Charter’ above)

      Wikipedia.org: 1948 Arab-Israeli War

      3. The 1967 (Six Day War) was also precipitated by the Arabs massing weapons and soldiers on the Israel border, closing the Straits of Tiran to Israeli ships, and by Egyptian President Nasser expelled the UNEF I peacekeeping force (I served in UNEF II in 1978). Israel was forced to launch a preemptive strike that destroyed the Arab forces.

      Wikipedia: Six Day War

To us in Canada, it is very difficult to understand that Israel is a very small country in land mass and population. For example, the population of Israel is about 6 million; Eqypt’s is about 71 million. Israel does not have the luxury of waiting until they are attacked by millions of Arabs determined to exterminate them before responding to clear aggressive threats to its very existence.

      4. The Arabs again tried to wipe Israel from the map in the ‘Yom Kippur War’ of 1973 during a surprise attack on Israel’s holiest days. After initial success Israel – again vastly outnumbered – turned the tide and prevailed again.

      Wikipedia: Yom Kippur War

      5. In accordance with the 1978 Camp David agreements Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt, and removed its own settlers from the land.

      Wikipedia: Camp David Accords

      6. Israel evacuated the Gaza Strip in 2005, again removing its own settlers.

      7. Israel does not have a charter or constitution or policy of exterminating Arabs as did its neighbours, and as Hamas currently does, nor do they have a policy of targeting civilians as do Arab terror groups like Hamas.

There is little doubt, of course, that Arab civilians have died during Israeli military operations, and it would be unreasonable to deny that illegal killings have taken place in the heat of battle, but it is ridiculous to claim that Israel has a policy of targetting innocents. The only groups who had, and still have, such policies are Arab groups who target Israeli civilians by design.

Israel never had a chance to live in peace after it was created by the UN. It has been attacked over and over again by racist monsters trying to destroy Jews and their state, but yet, it still made peace with those who were willing. Arabs have no one to blame but themselves for land seized and settled by Israel while it defended itself against their aggression.

I would suggest that it is long past time for Palestinians and their supporters to put down their guns, hang up their murder/suicide vests, examine the hate and racism within their own hearts, and then follow the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King to achieve their goals. I believe they would find Israel a willing partner for peace – history proves this.

    2. I see this silly scuffle made it to the Michael Coran show.

I have to admit Arnie (Blazing Cat Fur) did sarcastically heckle this commie pismire, but no more than he did Arnie and it certainly could not be called provocation to excuse a physical assault. But you know how these civilly-challenged Marxist touch-holes are, doesn’t take much to send them off into some foamy-mouthed neurotic reactionary violence in hopes of inciting more mass violence which they then blame on their victims and political enemies.

Frankly this is why I never attend these pointless street shouting matches with the troglodite Marxist hordes – because I’ve never been successfully conditioned into accepting the neo-Marxist paradigms about making myself a martyr to utopian anti-self defense doctrines. I refuse to become a victim of political or criminal violence – particularly for speaking my mind publicly regardless if the politically indoctrinated police deem violence or threats against my person proper to ‘Keep the peace”.

Had this type of attack happened to me, in the absence of any immediate proper police intervention to prevent personal damage, I would be forced defend myself and property from such egregious assault – and that would likely result in my attacker wearing a cast on the broken fingers and arm he attempted to shove in my face. The paper work and legal costs of exercising a right to self defense is a pain and gains little ground in the culture war. The place to fight the 5th column left is in a court room and in the court of public opinion.

I note the tell tale indoctrinated attitude of police at this event, that they are there in the capacity of “Peace Keepers” and not ‘law enforcers’. Sorry but that is some leftard revisionist semantics. Cops, by their oath and obligatory deference to the constitutionally mandated enforcement of rule of law, have NO OPTION other than to UPHOLD THE LAW equally and without bias or exception when they see it broken. “Keeping the peace” does not cut it, particularly if ‘keeping the peace’ means ignoring the criminal activities of one group while repressing another to placate some ad hoc group identity volatility code. Seems the more propensity for violence your identity group represents the more absolution from law breaking the police yield to you. it’s Pavlovian, it’s a reward for being uncivil.

Cheers Mark, Good to see you realize the political force behind ‘2 tiered policing’ smells more of malignant neo-com political destabilisation than any higher social motive.

VoC REPLY: Hi Bill. As I recall, BCF only ‘heckled’ Ali Mallah while he was being assaulted. And that was AFTER Mallah crossed the road to get at him. And, even if he had heckled him, it’s still an assault.

Check out this real life example from Caledonia where a resident pushes Timothy Sywyk (type HIS name into my search feature) who is videotaping while screaming disgusting insults at Christine McHale after Gary was attacked. She was convicted of assault. Most illuminating (as I pointed out to BCF). The case is R. v. Chapman, 2008:

      http://www.canlii.ca/eliisa/highlight.do?text=r+v+chapman&language=en&searchTitle=Ontario&path=/en/on/oncj/doc/2008/2008oncj552/2008oncj552.html

If BCF decides to file a charge – through the police or privately – he’ll wish he got the knuckles instead I expect. BCF did exactly the right thing by refusing to react with violence. The courts will be much more satisfying.

Thanks for writing, Wild Bill. Mark

    3. Wandawantspeace

      Hi,

I would suggest that people need to stop digging so deep to pacify their own wants and needs.

I would also suggest that opinions and views are cherished and coveted by those who have them so boldly and yet protected in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

There are only people here. Anyone who wants to argue with me is free to do so, so long as Mr. Vandermaas has the fortitude to post their comments on these issues.

VoC REPLY: So…you’re in favour of violence against innocents or not or what? You don’t think people should understand the link between CUPE and Muslim terror groups and Caledonia or not or what? We’re all peoplem, people with opinions, OK. What’s your point? Mark
